Bound to the Prince

Elven Warrior Trilogy, #1

Prologue: An exile elven prince, Elathan, is dreaming of his homeland in his cave where he has taken refuge in after being exile. In the past, his mother died at birth and his father then took a wood nymph as his wife. They gave Elathan a brother and made him an heir to the throne; the wood nymph wants her son to be king and had him banished saying he was going to kill his father for his throne. However, he never had any plans to kill his father. Elathan has royal signs carved into his body by his father designating him as his father heir. He did not show any emotions when his father carved them into him. His lifelong cousin died and he swore on her dead body he would kill humans from now on to avenge her.

Present, Igraine is at rail of a bridge and is ready to leap into the river to her death. However, before she can jump she caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of her eye. It is a handsome man, Elathan, and she cannot believe how good looking he is; Elathan cannot believe the smell that is coming from her. It reminds him of home. He grabs and takes her unconscious body to his cave. He wants her as his pleasure slave so Elathan trains her in weapons so she can survive her new environment and him using her body for sex. They finally do have sex and it creates a lifelong bond between the two. The bond they created made each other feel the other's emotion, gave Igraine some magic, and bonded their souls together. Another elf comes to them and tells them the king is dead. They race to the kingdom to stop his step-brother from taking the throne since he killed his father. This leads to war between the two brothers.

This is an interesting tale and the start to a new series. There are many scenes where you will need an something cold to drink or a fan to cool off. The characters are intelligent and the landscape is described beautifully.

An elven prince without a throne.
A mortal woman without hope, stolen from her own world to fulfill his every desire.
A choice of love and death that could bind them together forever.

Some people believe that beneath our own world, separated only by a thin veil of human disbelief, there is another one – an ancient land of myths and legends, a place where magical creatures dwell. What would happen if one of them walked the streets of London at night?

Once a proud warrior, elven prince Elathan was living in exile, fallen from grace and separated from his own people. He wanted the mortal woman the moment he saw her standing on Blackfriars Bridge, staring down into the darkness with unbearable pain in her eyes. This strangely compelling female also happened to have luscious curves that made his body ache with desire.

Naturally, he decided to hunt the woman down, drag her to his lair and command her to become his slave of pleasure. But would her frail human body survive a night of untamed passion in the arms of a Fae?
After a devastating breakup with her fiancé, Igraine Chandler was spending her honeymoon in England all by herself, her life utterly bereft of meaning. For who could ever love a plain, slightly overweight nurse from New Jersey with nothing left but a broken heart and her lost dreams of a home and a family?

But she never imagined that she would soon set out into a world beyond her wildest dreams, and help a prince reclaim his throne …

Set in a medieval fantasy world of noble knights, monsters and magicians, honor, betrayal and revenge, “Bound to the Prince” is a romance influenced by Celtic mythology and Arthurian legends. But in its heart, it’s a story of a woman’s inner development to a new, strong, self; uninhibited desire, boundless love, loss and sacrifice.
