Kristen Ashley books should come with a warning that says, “You may become addicted to KA books.” Since I reviewed Law Man a few months ago I haven’t been able to tear myself away from her stories. They are unique and quirky and wonderful. Kaleidoscope is no exception. Ms. Ashley has come a long way from her first self published books and there is a bit more “reigned” in feel to her new books published by a big house that in no way detracts from the overall enjoyment of the books. Her voice is clear and continues to shine through. Her characters are well developed and almost three dimensional, and I loved that she revisited old friends from earlier books. I have definitely added Ms. Ashley to my auto-buy list and if she keeps writing like this I won’t be taking her off anytime soon.
