Selena's Men

Ravens of War, #1

This is Ms. Boon’s debut novel and in it she introduces a fantastic new series. Though her world building is still rough, there is enough information given out that you can begin to visual the world that she has set her story in. The hope is that this world expands as the series does. Her storyline is unique and involves mythical Roman/Greek gods. (I can never remember which are which, and, as you can tell you don’t have to know much about them to understand and enjoy this story.) The romance is introduced through dreams and quickly becomes reality. It can be graphic and is frequently ménage. But, this isn’t just a romance. There is a power struggle going on between Zeus and his father, Cronus. There is also a missing goddess, the daughter of Zeus. While that alone makes for a complex plot, there is even more with the introduction a several secondary characters who should be making appearances as primary characters in later books. All in all, the story is enjoyable and while it doesn’t always read smoothly, it is worth giving this author a try. I like this first book and look forward to reading the next.

Selena was abandoned as a baby and adopted. She grew up in a loving family. Currently, she’s almost 25 and with her best friend, she opens and operates several night clubs. Their newest will be in Kansas City which is where she meets Max and Malcolm King. Though they only talk on the phone, the attraction is there and manifests itself in their dreams. This is a first for the brothers and they can’t wait to actually met Selena. However, no one expected the sexual explosion that occurs or the upcoming fight that will have Selena fighting for her life!

Book Blurb for Selena's Men

Max and Malcolm King had been part of an Elite group of twelve men created by Zeus, called the Ravens of War. When they were no longer needed they were sent to Earth in hopes they’d find happiness. After hundreds of years, they‘d given up hope of finding their Fated, until they met Selena Ramos.

But the Gods aren’t done with them. Zeus needs them to find his lost daughter and time is running out for all of them. As the three lovers are consumed with passion, they find themselves thrust in a fight for their lives.

Cronus the dethroned King of the Gods has found the missing Goddess and plans to use her as the ultimate weapon for revenge. He’ll use her to regain the throne on Mount Olympus, killing his son Zeus at the same time. Max and Malcolm are willing to do anything, even share Selena, but they will die before they give her up.
