This is the second book in Ms Boon’s Mystic Wolves series. However, it will stand alone so don’t be afraid of jumping right in. Niall was introduced in the first book and quickly became an intriguing character. His character further develops in this story and his life comes more in focus. Alaina’s character is also well done though it’s not as defined as Niall’s character. Still, each character is interesting and will keep you wanting to keep reading. In this book, a new paranormal group is introduced and becomes a major part of the story. In addition, expect to see rowdy bikers in Sturgis for bike week as well as some caring tattoo artists. It becomes apparent in this story that Ms Boon is growing as an author as the story flows better than her initial stories. She is definitely a writer worth watching as she continues bringing out more series.
Niall is conflicted. He’s has a lifemate and doesn’t ever expect to find another. However, he does have needs and his son should have a mother. He’s not sure where to go with this problem. Alaina has gone home to relax after a gunman held her classroom hostage. She never expects to learn her father has arranged a marriage for her with someone she doesn’t even know! Leaving her no choice, Alaina runs to her mother’s sister. A broken car, a race through the woods and a sexy wolf has Alaina confused. But, is she the answer to Niall’s problem or just another problem?
Niall Malik is alpha of the Mystic Wolves. His life revolved around protecting his pack and son. He planned to do this alone until finding an injured woman who stirred more than just his lust.
When Alaina Strop woke in the tattooed arms of a strange wolf shifter, all she could think of was getting closer. Having no memory was a small thing compared to the feelings she had for the growling man. Before she could give her mind and body to him, she needed to find out who she was, and be sure she didn’t belong to another. Though deep in her soul, she knew she was Nialls.
Danger came to Mystic as Alaina’s memory returned and her father came to claim her for another wolf. But Niall, the big bad alpha, had found his perfect wolf, and wasn’t about to let her go, no matter the cost.
