Current Release: Jane Eyre

Describe your current release in two sentences?

This is the hot, erotic, re-imagined version of Charlotte Bronte's beloved Jane Eyre. It's part of the Clandestine Classics releases from Total-e-Bound

Please describe your writing environment.

I have a lovely home office filled with beautiful art and covers of my books...and I never use it! I bought a small notebook computer and I carry it from place to place. I'm as likely to write in the kitchen as I am the big fluffy couch in the living room...or at my "second office," Starbucks.

What are you working on?

I'm currently working on a new release, book one of a three-book series from Total-E-Bound, all set Colorado.

What do you feel blessed with?

I'm blessed with tons of energy! I need my sleep, but I am able to keep several balls in the air. I am blessed with great friends with a variety of different backgrounds. And of course, my fabulous, supportive family.

What was your childhood ambition?

Honestly....? To be a writer of some sort, maybe a novelist, maybe a journalist. I wrote my first books as a child, and my elementary school librarian "published" them for me. As a child, though, I had no idea how challenging being a writer really would be.

What is your favorite TV show?

Here's my deep, dark secret... I rarely watch television. When I do, I generally turn on the Tennis Channel. I admit to being a fan of the Slams, and I've been known to get up at three A.M. to watch a big match.

On occasion, I turn on HGTV. I really like Love It or List It. And I really, really like Mike Holmes!

What career fields have you worked in?

I've worked in banking, a bridal shop renting out tuxedos, waited tables, and I've handled business development for one of the coolest companies on the planet.

What are your plans for the summer? Any books you are looking forward to?

I've worked in banking, a bridal shop renting out tuxedos, waited tables, and I've handled business development for one of the coolest companies on the planet.

What are your plans for the summer? Any books you are looking forward to?

I LOVE summer! I recently purchased a mountain bike, and I am loving the opportunity to discover the city in a whole new way. (And hey, it's another way to get to Starbucks!) Summer travel is also a good time to catch up on some good books by favorite authors including Nora Roberts, Harlan Coben, Lisa Gardner.

How was your road to publication?

I had a very rocky road to publication! It took me over ten years to get my first contract, and I wrote ten novels in that amount of time. And I wish I could say it had all been smooth sailing since then.

If you could time travel, where would you travel to and why?

Growing up, I dreamed of going back in time to the American West. I thought it would be fun to ride a wagon train, bravely pioneering a new frontier. Or I wanted to go to Regency England with the fabulous parties and exquisite manners. But now, I've come to realize how much I like my creature comforts. I like cars, air conditioning, indoor plumbing, electricity, great restaurants, and a coffee pot that has my coffee ready when I wake up in the morning. I love advances in cell phones, iPods, etc. So I'd now like to go to the future to see what other fabulous comforts are in store for us!

Thanks for this great opportunity. I love to connect with people. I've been very fortunate to be included in the Clandestine Classics project I loved spending time with Jane and Mr. Rochester in England...in a setting not far from my birthplace. And I also look forward to returning to present day Colorado with some scorching new projects.
