Hi Elena! Thanks for visiting with us today. What is "Ocean's Three" (Made In Heaven #2) about?
Ocean's Three delves deeper into the psychic/soul mate connection than the first book. My trio, Jocelyn, Cameron, and Reed first meet each other in a shared dream and they continue to do so for years. Jocelyn, who thinks she made her men up, gets a very real surprise when she runs into them on a cruise sailing the Mediterranean. Get ready to set sail!
What is your writing place like?
I like to get comfortable with my lap top on my couch with a whole bunch of pillows and a comfy throw if it's cold. I either like it quiet or I play songs that inspire the scene I'm working on. Sometimes I also pace while trying to work out a scene in my head.
When it comes to your first draft, do you write via computer or notepad? or Both?
I usually frantically jot down notes in a notebook or on sticky notes and then somehow make an outline out of these, but it's not always in order. But when I actually sit down to write, it's always on a computer. My handwriting is like chicken scratch so I probably wouldn't be able to read most of it later. Also, I can't write as fast as I can type and the when the words are flowing, I need to get them down quickly.
What's next for you as an author?
I'll be wrapping up my Pack Warrior series shortly by writing the next two books back to back. I have a story releasing in April 2017 in the Shared For The First Time Anthology Box Set called Arctic Spirit. It will be a first book in a brand new series and is all about sexy tiger shifters from Alaska. This series will tie in nicely with another series I'll be working on with dragon shifters. I am also working on the next book in The Beyond The Veil series I co-write with the lovelies Sarah Marsh and Maia Dylan.
At what point did you know you wanted to publish a book?
I think I was 5. :) I've always wanted to be a writer.
What place is on the top of your to travel to list?
One place I have always wanted to visit is Australia and I am super excited to actually be going in October 2017 where I will be signing at the Riveting Reads Australia event. And the next place on top of my list would be Scotland. Castles and beautiful countryside and that amazing accent.
What genres do you write in and what inspired you to write in these genres?
I love to write what I love to read and that's paranormal romance. Those are the stories that usually keep me up at night as the plot bunnies form in my head.
Anything else you would like to share?
I look forward to bringing you tons more exciting adventures and yes, I do have something else to share. I am not left handed. :) (We can totally be friends if you know where that is from.)
It's been a pleasure having you over today.
Thank you so much to you beautiful wonderful readers. I have met so many wonderful people since starting my writing career, some of whom I am lucky enough to call my friends. And thanks for stopping by here. <3
