I really loved this story and it has it all - intrigue, desire, love, duty, and faith, plus much more all rolled into one. Paula Quinn has penned a story rich in drama and the things that make us human beings, with our passions, triumphs, faults, secrets, and our ties to those people and things we hold dear in this life. And for those of you who are fans of Ms. Quinn’s novels will see some familiar faces show up as well from her earlier novels such as Laird of the Mist and A Highlander Never Surrenders! :) I fell in love right along with Rob and Davina and I loved watching how their story and love unfolded. Those of you that know me know that I love a good Scottish story and this is truly one of those with just a little of the Tudors vibe thrown in there for good measure!
