While the story is about a couple finding each other Tyler was the main attraction for me. I thought I knew him from the previous books, had him totally figured out. I was wrong. Or maybe he just changed when he finally found the woman who had haunted him for two years, and the secret she carried was revealed. All I know is this was a great read full of all the smoking chemistry and seething emotion I’ve come to expect and crave from this author. She has an affinity for pulling the reader into the story to such a depth that the emotions the characters are experiencing become their own.
If you’ve read the previous stories you know you have to read this one. The whole gang is revisited and we get a peek into how their relationships are faring as they stand behind Tyler and assist him as he helps Del.
Alpha male all the way, Tyler finally goes for the woman who evokes so many feelings in him and when she resists, well, that’s not an option. He knows what it now feels like to be alive, and while he’s done his damnedest to forget with other women her reappearance just makes it that much more clear. This story leaves you breathlessly awaiting the next in the series. As usual. And fortunately there are plenty more Alpha’s who need a woman. Xander anyone? A must read.
