In the fairy tale kingdom of Werthing Ton Fallorian (aka WTF) princess Tasminia is running down the hallway in a monstrosity of a wedding dress trying to escape her step-mother, the queen, who is following her. She is trying to get to her hiding place where she can think of a plan to get even with her. The queen just tried to throw Tasminia a surprise wedding that she did not even know was planned for her! She went into a fitting room to try on a dress, ends up in the wedding dress, and comes out of the dressing room right into a wedding ceremony!
Getting to her hiding place’s mirror, she uses magic on the mirror and walks into a room of a hidden wing of the castle that nobody can find except for females of a certain magical bloodline. A wizard accidently put the wing into magical place when a spell backfired. Entering the room Tasminia is surprised to see a door appear before her that she never saw before and inside the room is a naked man chained to the wall. She gets close to him and the man asks, “What are you doing here with that dust mop of a dress? I did not ask for a room cleaning.” Tasminia replies, “I can see you are not one of those good behaving prisoners.” The man, Dash, cannot believe she just spoke to him because he has not seen another person for a very long time! He has been trapped in a magical cage which has kept him from aging and has watched his clothes turn to dust before his very eyes every morning. They talk for a while and later on Tasminia helps get Dash out of his cage.
This begins a relationship that will have you hot and bother one minute and laughing at the stuff that happens a few pages later. It is a short tale but it will leave you with a feeling of satisfaction of a full tale in more ways than one. *wink* I hope the author continues these tales with these two characters or other characters because it has such a unique take on fairytales.
WTF Dragon: In the fairytale kingdom of Werthing Ton Fallorian (or WTF for short), fairytale folk have gone insane. With the imps of lust and wickedness on a rampage, no one is safe. Five Princesses, Five Dragons. A coincidence? I don't think so.
The Motive: Princess Tasminia deSoto has had it with her stepmother's horrid matchmaking. Tricking the princess into a surprise wedding with the narcissistic Baron Winterwood from a neighboring kingdom (of the same name) is the final straw. If only there was a dragon to be sacrificed to!
The Idea: Desperation forces her to enlist the aid of the notorious Dash Ryan, illusionist and con artist for hire. Surely the wildly entertaining (and sexy) rogue can come up with something believable. And if a princess can find a little sexual education on the side... well... that's just a plus.
The Twist: Dash Ryan has a few secrets of his own. Secrets he's more than willing to exploit for just a taste of the princess's sexual awakening. But will one taste be enough?
