In Night is Darkest we get two smoking hot cops with perfect bodies and a nurse, Lacey, who has worshiped the ground they walk on since she was a teenager. The author did a great job of making me feel the heroine’s emotions of concern as well as making me see Mason and Tyler suffering at her pain.
The author was easily able to convey their relationship and the emotions of all the characters. They had all grown up together and Lacey had always wanted to tag along and had crushed on them since she was younger. Mason and Tyler are her rocks and help them all deal with such a great loss. I must say that I had a hard time putting this book down and it kept me guessing at all times who the killer was and what would happen between the three of them. I admire these cops even if it’s just in a book because they are trying to make the world a better place. I have read several of the books in this series and always waiting for the next one to come out.
Mason and Ty were Lacey’s brother's best friends as well as his coworkers at the station. Ty and Mason hold their feelings for her back. Then they decided to let her explore her feelings for them. Sex, sex and more sex happens in many ways.
