A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Tigger9
Bodies of Work was a great story. I really enjoyed it and can't wait for more about Mike and George. I fell in love with the characters and their story. It had me hooked and I didn't want to put it down. The characters are so real. The story flows well and has its twists and turns that keep you guessing. I really enjoyed getting to know Mike and George and seeing them together, starting their relationship. They are not overt in public affection whatsoever and are just who they are with no drama or doubts. They are confident and once they get together they never question it and things just flow smoothly between them. It does take Mike being shot for George to realize that he loves him as more than a brother but he definitely makes up for it by never questioning the feeling or decision. Mike and George are so cute together. They make a perfect couple. Zeb and Zeke are great characters too. I would love to see what happens to them when they go off to college, especially to see them fall in love. The story was written really well. I wasn't happy to see the end come. It keeps you interested the entire time with enough romance in it also. It was a great mix and I would love to read more from Etienne D'Artagnan, especially about Mike and George. Can't wait for the next one.

Book Blurb for Bodies of Work
George Martin and Mike Foster have been best friends since childhood, but recent events have brought them even closer together: Mike has moved into George’s house now that George’s unfaithful boyfriend has been kicked out. It puts Mike in a pinch, because he’s always loved George—maybe more than a best friend should.
George doesn’t suspect Mike’s feelings, being wrapped up in his job as the youngest lieutenant in the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office and investigating a series of murders. But it will all come to a head when George is stalked by a psycho and Mike steps in front of a bullet meant for George. George then realizes there’s much more to their relationship than he suspected.
