Maggie is your typical workaholic. All work and no play. To make matters worse, she is still thinking of her ex months later. Her friend decides to take matters in her own hands. Having found success with Madame Evangeline's high end dating service that led to her true love she wants to help out others. Apprehensive at first and then down right scared, Maggie sends the email and goes to her one night stand. Ian is nearly forty and wondering what do I have to show for it? He writes steamy books and works part-time as a Dom dealing out punishments to his clients. What he wants is a woman to love and to be loved in return. With his kinks, would any woman ever see past this? When contacted about Maggie from Madame Evangeline, Ian was intrigued. This is one hot, short read that really packs a punch. Ms. Kaye establishes great characterization and emotions in Maggie and Ian from the beginning. I loved both of them separately and then together. While the sex is beyond hot and Maggie's wish is granted, the emotions between Ian and Maggie run deep. My only complaint is that I felt the story was too short. I realize that this was a one night stand and it was written as such, but I would like to have seen more of them together. I highly recommend Maggie's Secret Wish for anyone that wants a quick hot read about two people that were destined for each other. This will not be my last One Night Stand. Great job.
