A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Diana Coyle
I found this short holiday read to be sweet and hot all rolled into one. I wasn’t sure what to think of Jimmy Doyle at first. I felt he was a lost soul searching for a new path without any direction in life. I completely understood why he was like this and my heart went out to him when I found out he’d been blaming himself all this time for his fiancée’s accident. Once he got away with his friends for some male bonding time during Christmas break, I found myself hoping that Jimmy would finally find the peace his heart and mind so deserved since that fateful day his fiancée passed away. When he met Karin Kellegher, who was minding the lodge where Jimmy and his friends were staying for a few days, I could immediately feel the chemistry burning between these two. All I could do was hope that Karin would be the person to help Jimmy finally forgive himself and be able to teach him how to move on with his life. I loved the ending of this story and felt the author did a wonderful job with her storyline. Great job, Ms. Gerrard!
