Tony and Meredith met at the worst possible time. Tony was just starting his business, not ready for a commitment. Meredith was at a crisis in her family that had backlash that damaged her emotionally. They had one beautiful sexual encounter and then it was over. Years later, fate throws them back together and Tony isn’t one to tempt fate. He’s spent the last five years preparing for his next encounter with Meredith. This time he’s not going to let her get away. Meredith is management at her family corporation and takes it very seriously. She could never earn her father’s regard but she is in control and means to stay that way. When Tony sees the submissive needs in her he zeroes in and proceeds to give her not what she wants, but what she needs. How can he know her better than she knows herself? This was an awesome read and Tony Renatto is pure gold. Strong yet sensitive, he is just what Meredith needs to set herself free, and he has no compunctions about doing so. Meredith is a product of a cold environment and it shows. While she has siblings their father turned the relationships into competition rather than support. After he passes, the damage is done and they must all work to repair their interactions with one another and break the cycle. The sex was of course edgy and hot with the aspect of BDSM added as a means of release for both Tony and Meredith. His need to dominate and hers to surrender all control, something she’s never been allowed to do. Very romantic at times as well as sweet, Tony and Meredith’s story will have you wishing for the same.
