A NIGHT OWL REVIEWS BOOK REVIEW | Reviewed by: Chris
Six years have passed and Tara still has it bad for Joe Corbett. The last time they were face to face they shared a scorching kiss and a promise of a future together and then he was gone. All she had was a letter he sent her stating that if she ever came near him he’d make her pay. Of course the threats weren’t really threatening since they turned her on due to their intense sexual nature but she stayed away anyway. Now she’s on a mission for her father to lure Joe Corbett back to help her father run his company due to his declining health. Will Corbett make his words come true? This story had me at the beginning with its edgy style and no holds barred approach. Tara was warned but she went anyway, even if it was six years later. It started out promising but then Joe developed a conscience. That wasn’t stopping Tara though. I don’t want to give too much away but the follow through wasn’t what I expected and hoped for. A lot can happen in six years and Tara and Joe had some catching up and clearing up to do to move forward, which they did. A very quick read that started out very naughty but mellowed a bit as it progressed. A little less than I anticipated but more than enough to entertain.

Book Blurb for Informed Consent
If you dare to come near me again, I swear I’ll take that as your consent for me to use you any way I choose… With equal parts determination and trepidation, Tara Calloway risks more than her heart to carry a vital message to her long-ago would-be lover, both hopeful and fearful of the reception that awaits her. She needs to keep it strictly business between them, for everyone’s sake, but Joe Corbett seizes this chance to carry out the explicit sexual threats—promises?—depicted in the letter he wrote her six years ago in a paroxysm of heat and anger. And she has no intention of stopping him.
