A Soldier's Woman

Janelle spent her high school years and beyond fantasizing about Ron. Now, thanks to a game of spin the bottle, her fantasy is becoming reality. Prequel to The Soldier's Return.

Janelle was a chubby and awkward teen in love with the most popular guy from her high school. She's in college now, and her heart still can't let him go even though he's heading off to the army and out of her life. Janelle has once last chance to see him again, but he'd never give her the time of day... would he? When she finds herself drawn into a game of spin the bottle with the man of her dreams, she finds out how wrong she is.

Ron admires Janelle as much for her spunk as he always has for her well-endowed figure. And when the sweetly shy girl shows her wild side, he can't think of anything other than possessing her--mind, body, and soul.

The Librarian's Love

Who knew the Paleontology section of the stately library would prove to be so fun...

As a librarian, Erica's life is a bit predictable. But when an old boyfriend, Daniel, walks into her section at work, Erica's world becomes anything but routine. And a nearly extinct flame is rekindled in Paleontology.

Ava Delany's "The Librarian's Love" is short and sweet. Heavy on the short (Two/Three pages in total) and light on the sweet. Daniel is the one that got away and when Erica runs across him in the Palentology section of the library where she works, fires are immediately stoked. Erica literally zoned out when Daniel was telling her about his life since college. He says "I thought about you a lot" and BAM! t

A Librarian's Desire

When an innocent preppy girl gets too drunk at his frat party, Daniel knows he has to keep her safe. Prequel to Librarian's Love.

Erica loves her studies. Library Science, the smell of history…it intoxicates her. But when she gets drunk at a frat party and reveals a bit more than she intends to in a game of Never Have I Ever, she finds her life of books and card catalogues not quite as satisfying as the handsome man whose attention she attracts.

The mousy librarian doing drunken keg stands grabs Daniel's attention from across the room. What a fascinating study in contrasts—one he can't wait to discover what mysteries her drab blouse and glasses may hide. And after hearing her sexy answers during Never Have I Ever, he's more determined than ever to know her secrets before the game is done.

Taking into account the length of this story, this was a satisfying enough read. The author relied a bit too heavily on telling us about her characters, such as telling us that Erica is a prim, proper and uptight librarian or that Daniel was a bad boy, instead of giving us contextual clues. In both cases the facts of the story didn't quite add up to the picture the two painted of the other. It was kind of

Janelle and Ron are an old married couple, but in reality haven’t spent much time together since he’s military and often stationed abroad. Now he’s home on leave and Janelle is ready to jump him the minute he enters their home. So the stage is set. This would have been wonderful had it been longer. I don’t know if this is something new from publishers but even though the word count wa
